Due to RBI regulations imposing extra authentication requirements on recurring credit card payments, advertisers in India using auto-billing may experience payment failures and account suspensions when they are not available online to authenticate the payment.
We’re excited to announce Prepayment as a solution that will enable advertisers to purchase prepaid credit for their ad campaigns and avoid account suspensions.
How does Prepayment work?
Advertisers can now visit the payment settings page in Quora Ads Manager to purchase prepaid credit. If they have an outstanding balance, their purchase first pays for the outstanding balance before paying for prepaid credit.
To get started:
- Visit the billing history or the payment settings page in your ad account
2. Click on ‘Add Prepaid Credit’ and enter the amount you wish to load your account with
3. The minimum amount is the equivalent of 5 USD (360 INR), but if there’s an outstanding balance on the account, funds must be added to cover the balance. The maximum amount that can be added is the equivalent of 2000 USD at the prevailing exchange rate, plus the current outstanding balance.
4. Once the amount is loaded, you can start your ads.
